I need to use solar panels to charge lead acid batteries in an off-grid application. I understand that solar panels have a open circuit maximum voltage and an maximum amperage under no resistance, and that one can optimize the power output by regulating the load (resistance). If so, is just connecting 12 -volt solar panels to a lead-acid battery inefficient? Are there devices that will maximize 12 volt output power (by varying the resistance)? Is labor near??? This is my first baby.?

I'm 37 weeks. The past 4 days I've had menstrual like cramping that come and go every 25-20 minutes. The doctor said she could se on the moniter that I was having mild contractions. She checked me on thursday I wasn't dilated. Then I went to the hospital friday nigt cuz I noticed the baby wasn't mocing as much and I had dilated 1cm. I have horrible headaches nausea and soft bowels. The baby was in breech position on friday. And then yesterday he dropped. Since yesterday the contractions have stayed the same lengths but maybe have gotten a little more uncomfortable. How much longer do you think til he comes out? Should I go in and be checked again or at least call and let them know I think he dropped? My next appointment is on wednesday.

Im a Tenant. 30 day notice?

I'm from CA and I have a contract with the Landlord. It's a month-to-month lease, $575 a month. I signed the contract on January 15,2010 and gave him the half month's rent which is $287. Leakage problems?

I have a very embarring problem. Recently, I've been experiencing some seepage throughout the day when I stand up and sit down or move my legs quickly. There is not a noticable noice, but there is an unpleasant smell and it makes my undershorts wet. The seepage does not appear to be any sort of feces as it is a clear and sometimes white-ish mucous sort of stuff. Hey, I live in Austin too. I totally agree with you. In a town that is known for college students and hippies everyone is testing...everyone. I have only lived here for a year. I moved from Atlanta. Anyway I smoked for about 10 years straight just about every single day. I lost my job here which I transfered with from ATL. I knew I was screwed because I wasn't clean and everywhere I looked was testing. I actually got offered a job and thought I'd be good for the test after taking one of those detox drinks and drinking water for a few days. NO! I failed. Labs can detect if you've taken one of those drinks and will check the temperature of your urine. The best thing to do honestly is just quit. I quit back in February. I hated having to do it but I realized I would never get a meaningful job if I kept smoking. I ended up buying one of those at home tests and ped. I waited about 45 days before I took it. I was so happy. That allowed me to try and get a job anywhere and not worry. Once you work it's ok to do it every once in a while...It can stay in your system for as little as 3 days if you do it like once or twice a month. Regular use will stay in your system for 28-45 days. THC is a fat soliuble drug and it's found in your fat cells. A lot of people are misinformed about this. It all depends on your weight, metabolism etc...I wouldn't waste my money on the detox drinks because they will tell if you took something. New lab puppy not house broken, advice?

did you look at the disk at all? You might have ringed the disk and made it unplayable. It happens if you bump the console while the disk is playing. If it is ringed your out of luck no matter what you do the data off the disk is gone. You will have to get a new copy.

My heart goes out to you! I live in Illinois and was worried about the same problem so went to a lawyer to talk to him. This is what he told me... If you have no papers signed no cop or judge is going to make him give you your child back. What you need to do is go to a lawyer and have him draw up a petition for custody NOW! That way you can serve him before he serves you. With him living in CA if he has the child there for more than 6 months that is the child's new residency which means all court hearings will be there. Because he is still a resident of Illinois you can bring it to court here you just have to get the papers in first. That will not mean he will come home yet. Then what I would do is get my on a plane and go get your child. This is just me talking though. Understand that the same thing he got you on you can get him on. Don't tell him you are coming. Just show up and when your kid is away from him have him hop in the car and take him back to Illinois. Understand that you did not do anything wrong in the eyes of the law because you are him mother so he can not get you on kidnapping. I'm going to go with no, unless they are putting birthdates on them now. But, on the bright side, I know that in Germany the drinking age for beer is 16, and for hard liquor it's 18. If you just go into a bar or restaurant and order, you're not going to get carded anyway, EVER (I lived there for three years and never did). You sometimes need an ID to get into a club, but that's rare and a driver's license or school ID (with birthdate) will do that for you. I'm pretty sure it's the same or similar in the other countries you mentioned. They're a lot more accepting as far as that stuff goes. It's just part of the culture.

my son was born at 8 pounds 14 ounces, he only lost 3 ounces by the time he was discharged form the hospital. He is almost four months old and now weighs 19 pounds, he eats 6 oz of formula every 3 hours. Is this unhealthy or abnormal? is there anything that I should be concerned about? my pediatrition didnt tell me anything other than for a baby his size there is no problem feeding him that much as long as he keeps it all down... he is also very advanced development wise, he can sit up practically unsupported, roll over from his back to tummy and from tummy to back, he has amazing head control, he can reach for and grab at toys as well as grab his pacifier and he has the coordination to place objects in his mouth and p from one hand to the other. he also is constantly "talking" and laughing, and playing games with us. And he also already has his two front bottom teeth in already. Someone told me that babies are not supposed to be that well developed for being that young, which makes me really worried. Someone else told me that those are all signs of autism... Should I be worried, or are these people just really un-educated (I'm a first time mother, so I have noooo clue what to believe and what not to!)

From my understanding, a custodial parent can request a review of the non-custodial parents child support payments every 3 years. If there is an increase in income, also taking into consideration any other dependent children of the non-custodial parent, the state would increase the child support. I am not sure on the amount of the increase in income that has to happen in order to change the order. I mean, if a father is bringing home $30,000 and child support is set on that, and then 3 years later his ex requests a review and he is making $31,000 then would that be enough of an increase in income to increase the child support, or does there have to be a significant increase in the income? I am just trying to get my facts straight before speaking to my ex. I didn't request a review until 9 years later and he had had such an increase in income, that the state raised his child support quite a lot. Actually, the first half-decent effort I've read on YA. Refinishing furniture: How to test for shellac?

I am preparing to refinish an older table. I'm not sure of the current finish (shellac vs. lacquer vs. varnish). I know that shellac would be soluble in denatured alcohol, however, I'd prefer not to buy a 5 gallon container of denatured alcohol just to test it. Will shellac also liquefy in 80 proof drinking alcohol (i.e. vodka)? That would allow me to test a small, inconspicuous area before buying a large container of denatured alcohol. Thanks.

O.k we're supposed to be saving money to buy a house by living with my in laws but they are driving us mad. They have messed up y routine with my son by constantly interfering with his upbringing. (This is the bit where im supposed to split myself in two and make my sons and my beds, tidy the bedrooms and pick up the laundry). Then she just takes it upon herself to make him breakfast and dress him when its only like 7am when he doesnt have breakfast till 8.15 and then gets dressed at 8.45. I know this sounds silly but son is a little OCD and has to do things in sequence. If he knows he's given breakfast and dressed as soon as he gets up, he knows that he's going somewhere. So for like an hour he's moaning at me to go out with him when school doesn't start until 9.15! Then my FIL gets up and moans about th estate of our bedroom so i go clean them. I know she's just trying to help but i've tried explaining nicely why i do things the way i do and that im o.k doing it my self but she goes off and bitches about me to her husband and then he bends my partners ear about it. My partner has had enough and wants to just go and rent again. The problem is I know they'll get upset with us and we might regret not holding out and buying a place. With the credit crunch we really aren't in the position to buy for at least another year and we want another baby but cant have one living here. What would you do?

The rhyming is forced. If this poem was about love, I don't feel it. I understand that these phrases are intended to express your emotions but they sound weak. Love is something that shouldn't be described like cooking instructions. Love is tumultuous. It's unsound. You're writing needs to expose that. Love is probably the most difficult thing to write about. I suggest that you keep writing and not in any particular form. Don't worry about rhyming or meter at first until you get your tone. After that you can mess around with rhyme. What you need to do is write what you know; what you feel. Don't even try to make sense of it because the most nonsensical thing I can think of is love. K. So at lunch at school I left the parking lot with two other friends in my vehicle. Leaving the parking lot I saw no one and turned right so I could head to mcdonalds. Driving down the road aways (going 45 on a 40) I changed lanes to get to the left lane. I didn't see a lady in my blindspot and accidentally cut her off. Shrugging it thinking it was no biggy I continued my way to mcdonalds. Arriving at mcdonalds my friends and I got out of the car, only to be welcomed by a botching british lady yelling I couldve killed someone. I ignored her and me and my friends walked into mcdonalds. Forgetting my money I ran to my car and the lady was out of her car behind mine calling the cops and getting the license. I didn't say anything just walked back into mcdonalds. And I went back to school and an officer showed up and told me I'm getting a citation for reckless driving. The officer said that the lady stated I cut her off leaving the school parking lot. And I cut her off later up the road becuz I had been racing some friends. No way was I racing anyone. Something about her statement didn't add up. If I was racing I had to have been going fast. Having to cut her off twice means I shoulda been ahead of her. But somehow she manages to get to mcdonalds before me. So the officer told me I need to show up to court. And there was no price I could pay it off on the citation. The officer said he wasn't involved. It's me against her. And so I was thinking the school has cameras. I went to the janitor camera guy and we pulled up the footage of me leaving the parking lot. There was no cars behind me for a good three seconds. I had cut off no one. And the citation said the incident was at the road when I was leaving the parking lot. It also said the incident was at 11:27. But I left the parking lot at 11 31. It says I have to show up to court bla bla bla for reckless driving. So what should I do. And what's the most trouble I get in.

Weening 9 m.o. from night feedings and putting him in crib?

My 9 month old fed son has been sleeping with us since day one..he was still waking 1-3 times a night to nurse. After a doctor's apt today, she suggested putting him in his crib with a full belly, a paci, and a small stuffed toy. He's standing in his crib screaming and crying bloody murder as we speak. She said no more night time feedings-cut him off completely...she also said to check on him every 15 mins if we need to..no picking him, up..no speaking...maybe rub his back if he's laying down...he's steadily crying..we did this once before and he cried and stood for several hours before we scooped him up and brought him back to bed :( It's breaking my heart...any words of advice?

Numbered Dream (please help)?

I had a dream (but i think i might have been astral projecting on a subconscious level) that i was being chased by what i can only think of as a spirit. It could have been an alien or a creature from another dimension i don't know but it seemed like a spirit to me. It had a companion with it that Im guessing was a dog and it chased me around in this crazy looking field. After a while i just stopped running and asked him. What are you chasing me for? How do I deal with a controlling boyfriend?

Hello! First off, let me say I have been with this guy for 3 months, and he runs my life. I lost quite a bit of friends, especially guys. I'm not allowed to have any guys as friends or else he's "leaving." His excuse is he gets jealous a lot. Some of my other friends were "bad influences," so I had to tell them goodbye. And he's skeptical of me visiting my mom in the city because it's "dangerous" there. He gets mad SO easily. One little thing that he doesn't agree with he'll flip out! Mad, mad. Don't get me wrong his personality is outstanding! He treats me right. Better then any other guy did. He's loyal, calls me on time, puts me before his friends and family. About microwavable rice pouches. Is it fully cooked when microwaved?

I usually don't eat a whole pouch so I put the rest in the fridge.Sometimes I eat the rice cold and it has a chewy hard texture to it. Has the rice become somehow raw again or is it hard from being in the fridge. I am worried that I may be eating parboiled rice which has more calories than cooked. I do not want to be eating more than I intended.

1 year ago i went to the ER for a really bad friction burn i got after . the ER determined i had by just looking at it. they gave me a shot on my bum and gave me a prescription for acyclovir. i had to take it 5 times a day for 10 days. i took a blood test for 3 days after taking acyclovir. would that have created antibodies for ? i haven't had a friction burn or an "outbreak" since.

For 21 years (from birth to present). I was a good person, always wanting to help everyone. I would always try help people specially friends whenever I could.
