I think i had a lucid dream triggered by false awakening any enlightentment on the matter would be gr8?

ok so im in bed and i wake up(so i thought) i go out side the front door of my flat/appartment and begin walking down the building stairs i notice flowers painted on the wall the paint is dripping and they look very sinister this was an extremely vivid image that i can only describe as seeming real apart from the flowers on the wall everything else was exactly the same as it should be. this was when i realised i had experienced a false awakening and that i realised i was dreaming, at first i was freaked out so i tried to wake up but the harder i tried the more vivid my dream became. i went back upstairs into my flat but as i came in the front door it was no longer the home i once knew but a completely different place the, dream went on but im afraid i cant remember more details only that i got into some sort of confrontation with the people in my dream and whilst running away i woke up for real. i would appreciate any comments on this because it was an odd experience that has interested me a great deal.
