Can you donate blood if you've had a blood transfusion?

I was in terrible car accident on March 30, of this year, and was given a blood transfusion during one of my many trauma surgeries. Out of curiosity am I ever able to donate blood? What about bone marrow since I was given some during my spinal fusion.
