Is it gay to say ‘ba-humbug’?

‘gay’ as in ‘make you sound ’ or ‘feminine’? i am referring to what scrooge does in christmas carol? or is it normal? perhaps just weird like saying ‘gazoontite’ instead of ‘bless you’? is it comparable to any other idiom?
