Ethical Vs. Law??? Please help!?

Okay so I am a Substance Abuse Counselor with a dilemma...A client has told you something within the confines of group. You have charted his comments.What the client has tol you is self-incriminating in nature. You have been served with a COURT ORDER to signed by a judge to turn over all your records pertaining to your client. You are also informed that you may be required to testify in a trial regarding your client. On one hand the client's information is generally considered confidential and it's your ethical responsibility to "DO NO HARM" which may be compromise if you adhere to the court order. On the other hand is your responsibility to act in accordance with the law? SO???????????? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!! Blessings to you all.
