I think it was the girl you slept with that started the gossip, and she told it to your flatmate..and that's why she said something to you about it...ask her if she heard that from the girl you slept with, she will tell you..and the reason she is trying to blame you for saying something is because she told on herself..it don't make sense, but that is what happened, I am guessing..and your flatmate probably wants to tell you, but doesn't want to look like the gossiper..but she won't be a gossiper if you ask her and she heard it from her, concerning you..it would be straight from the party involved mouth, to her, to you.
