I suggest not contacting him again. Because you had put up with his shenanigans for so long, he thinks he can still treat you any old way. It's time to cut the strings - no more dates, no more texting - NOTHING! That's the only way you'll be able to concentrate on yourself. And you do not deserve to be hurt in any kind of way. You are probably very nice but need to be a bit more ertive and not take any guff from anyone. You are in charge if your life and you can live it in harmony as long as you stand up for yourself. Once you do that, I know things will look up for you.
